Viewing Android File System for Android Emulator

Hello All,

I'm fairly new to working with the Android SDK and Emulators. What is the easiest way to view the contents of the file system to see files create by apps and to create files that can be read by apps.

I'm running MonoDevelop 3.1.1 and Mono for Android on OSX 10.8.2.
