I would like to introduce myself. I've doing Oracle database administration for the last 20 years, and I would like to start mobile app developing. I used to program Cobol several years ago, Basic, some C code, but it those days are gone. The question I have is, do I have to have C# knowledge to start using Xamarin?, because I was doing some test with RAD X4 and X5 from Ebarcadero, and one of the most important feature I found is, that actually you don't need to know nothing about programing since the IDE is very easy to use and you can have some basic app built in short time. So, does Xamarin have such an easy IDE?, is it mandatory for me to have C# programming knowledge??..
That's it, hope my English is good enough. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not an Embarcadero fan, I mentioned that tool since it is the only one I tryied so for. Thankx in advance Best regards
