I have a Mac running the latest Xamarin software on the stable channel and a Parallels Win 8.1 VM running VS 2013. When I try to build the solution from Visual Studio I can find and connect to the build host without a problem, but Visual Studio shows me an error saying: "Build server with address 10.211.55.2 is too old to be used with this version of Xamarin.iOS extension. Double click here to select a new server.".
Which is weird because when I go into Xamarin Studio on the Mac, it says I am up to date. Build Host version is 7.0.4.209.
The one thing I've noticed that's a bit off is that I am getting connection errors when I try to check for updates from within Visual Studio. There is a connection error when trying to check for updates. (Inner Exception #0) System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Could this be causing this issue?
