I just purchased an Xamarin.iOS business license, but I'm failing at getting even the simplest application to execute from my copy of Visual Studio 2012 Prof.
From Xamarin.Studio on my Mac there are no problems (profiles, devices etc. should be OK).
I connect fine from Visual Studio to the Mac host, but that is about as far as I get.
The project builds but I cannot Deploy. Here I get an error: System.InvalidOperationException: The operation cannot be completed because a build is already in progress.
When I then try to start a debugging session instead the debugging session will just end after a few seconds. No error messages. It just ends.
This has been tested with a real device (iPad 4, XCode 5, OS X 10.9.1).
I would like to try with the simulator but this doesn't work either (There is an error: Failed to change active application on server).
Also, I keep getting a message about my SDK's not being in sync :-( There is a warning: "Failed to obtain information about the remote's profile files. Unable to check SDK status).
My biggest regret right now though is that Xamarin wouldn't sell my the iOS Indie license as I requested (I wanted to develope on the Mac for this), because I already have an Xamarin.Android business license active!
