Where was that custom badge example?

I can't seem to recall where I saw this, but there was an example that showed how you could create a badge-like effect on NavigationItem. I'm not looking for the standard badge on the app or the tab control. I need to put it elsewhere on the view.

Anyone know the example that I'm referring to? Thanks.
