I'm using Visual Studio 2010 (v10.0.40219.1 SP1Rel) with the Xamarin.Android plugin (v4.12.28) and everything is going smoothly except that I am unable to set the project configuration (Debug/Release). The configuration is defaulted to 'Release' and I'm still able to debug properly but I don't understand why I can't change it and why I'm able to debug. The "Solution Configuration" and "Solution Platforms" in the Standard toolbar are always disabled and opening Solution Properties does not give the "Solution Configuration" option like it usually does. I have an Android Class Library project and an Android Application project that references the library project. Is there something I'm missing? I should note that if I open this solution in Xamarin Studio, I am able to actively select Debug/Release configurations.
