Hi folks, I'm busy converting an Android app over to iOS using Xamarin and am struggling with a bit of UI. In the Android app, we've got a toolbar at the top of the screen with a tab bar just below it with two tabs on it. Switching between the tabs changes the view, but doesn't alter the back button behaviour.
In my iOS app I'm using Monotouch dialog for the view controllers (which is great). I can display a toolbar (by un-hiding the navigation controllers one), but I'm not sure how to deal with switching view controllers. I don't think having a tab bar and a toolbar at the same time is possible in iOS as they're both stuck to the bottom of the screen?
Then I thought I could just add a button to the toolbar, which when clicked would cycle me through the different controllers, whilst at the same time not altering the state of the navigation controllers back button. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this :)
Anyone got any advice on how I would go about doing this?
