Automated Testing Frameworks and Mono Android

Hi,

I'm looking into selecting an automated mobile testing framework to use with Mono Android built apps. So far, I've run into problems when attempting to use .apk files produced by Mono Android and then installing and running them outside of the MonoDevelop IDE. I am aware that for debug builds, that the Mono IDE loads the MonoDebugRuntime and MononAdroidPlatform libraries onto the device (currently just testing with the emulator). I've attempted to manually install these libraries along with the debug signed .apk, but run into version mismatch problems and testing with a release signed .apk results in a "missing mslibcor.dll" error. I've done quite a bit of searching and can't quite get all the way towards a resolution for these problems.

So far I've tested the following frameworks with Mono Android apps:

--Robotium --Ranorex --Calabash

All of the frameworks work fine with Android apps developed in Java under Eclipse. Backing up a bit, I'd like to find out if there are any frameworks that people have been able to get to work with Mono for Android. I've searched this forum for testing framework threads, but don't see any clear examples of what people have had success with. Calabash Android claims that it now supports Mono Android, but so far, I haven't had any luck with that one either. Any help/insight at all would be a big help.

Thanks
