I've got a Xamarin.Mac app that I need to load on startup, in particular upon user login. Plenty of Mac apps have a checkbox for "start on login" - that's all I'm after. After all my searching, though, I've not found anything I could successfully implement. There's LSSharedFileList, but that's not preferred because it's not sandbox-safe (and I couldn't get it working anyway) There's some methodology of using a helper app, but I'm super unclear on that and can't seem to answer my own questions about it.
If anyone has any examples, or even could remind me of an open source mac app that I could look to for reference, I'd be really grateful. Off hand, I can't seem to think of any apps I know of that are both open source and start on user login.
