Sorry for the lack of details on this question but just want to see if anyone has struggled with this issue in the past and how they have fixed it.
I run Xamarin Studio on OS X, currently 10.9.2 but I've seen this issue on other versions of OS X and Windows 7 and 8 as well. Sometime when I start an instance of the Android emulator it does not show up in the "Select Device" dialog and thus can not be selected for use. Generally I have to restart Xamarin Studio or the emulator or both and it will eventually show up and work for a period of time. Sometimes clicking refresh on the "Select Device" dialog does the trick too.
Are others having this issue? Are there config changes that help with this?
Generally it has I have been able to get the emulator working but I'm currently getting some support questions from folks running Window 8.1 and they are not having the same success.
