Meaning of Preferences->Text Editor->Behaviour->Indentation

This seems to have 3 options:

None, Automatic and Smart. I'm guessing they should do the following:

None -> pressing return takes you to the start of the next line Automatic -> pressing return takes you to the next line, indented to the same degree as the previous line Smart -> language specific e.g. indent more on the line after a { in C#

In 4.2.4 all of the settings seem to behave the same way, which is as I've described under 'Smart'.

Is this meant to be the case?

Is this meant to be overridable per-solution / project (I assume not!)
