I have an app which seems to be draining the iPhone's battery (from 100% to 20% in 90 mins). It uses a lot of LINQ within the app as well as an SQLite database. There is a two way sync process to an external server (this is called for every new event generated by the app (not that many and only sends at most 150 bytes of data, and once every 5 mins which only grabs data from tables where the number of the server has changed and the ID on the server is not in the app).
I would imagine using the internal database being power hungry, but will the amount of LINQ used also increase the battery usage? If it doesn't, is there any way to trace where the power is leaking to?
