Is there anything a developer can do to get around this problem when using Xamarin? Dianne Hackborn's article (first link) said something about the priority setting of the thread, is it possible to change the priority of the UI thread?
I'm finished with the main part of my app but my partner who owns a Galaxy S3 tells me the app isn't performing well on his phone, it's a speed-reading app and it's skipping words, maybe due to this issue where the UI can't update fast enough?
Any help is appreciated. This problem is a deal breaker for us.
