Google Maps V2 how do I get the debug.keystore

I know where the debug.keystore is... BUT V2 requires SH1A and doing the list on the debug.keystore only shows the MD5 which will NOT work for generating an API Key (from what I can tell).

I'm sure I'm missing something, but where/how do I generate an API Key for debug purposes since I DO have one for release already. I have converted my stuff from V1 to V2 (I think... what a pain that was), but I need to be able to test things prior to submitting to the Play Store.
