Hey, I'm new to Xamarin and Android development in general. I want to be able to integrate maps so that I can perform geo analysis and plot data/layers on maps. So far the options I'm seeing for Android (not specificially Xamarin.Android though?),
ArcGIS - This would be my go to option as it appears to do everything I want, but so far as I know there isn't a simple way to get it working in Xamarin.Android
Google Maps V1/V2 - This seems to have the best support by Xamarin, but so far I'm getting a lot of conflict in how to implement this since Google went from V1 to v2.. most of the tutorials are now out of date (i.e. getting an API key is no longer possible?) I'm using the demos from GitHub and they seem hit or miss. Using SimpleMapDemoV3, the Maps with Overlay shows up as a blank map!
Any other map solutions that you guys are using in Xamarin.Android?
