Help to create a Expandable List View with selected child item funcionality

Hello guys. Newbie here. I need to implement a expandable List View where i can select the child item and fire a event (like opening a page or so).
I had tried some examples but none have the funcionality to select a child item.
Please, any help would be wonderful.
