Will "The name 'InitializeComponent' does not exist" bug be fixed in the next version?

I'm on VS2017 stable release (with Xamarin.iOS 10.8) and stable Xamarin Studio (with the same iOS version).

I cloned my project, that compiled and run successfully in VS2015 and prev Xamarin Studio. I'm still getting "The name 'InitializeComponent' does not exist in the current context" error while trying to rebuild. But when I click "Run" the app is successfully running in iOS simulator.

It's definitely a bug.. and the question about this issue was asked on SO - stackoverflow.com/questions/6925584/the-name-initializecomponent-does-not-exist-in-the-current-context - in 2011. So my question is will it be fixed anytime soon?

PS. When I rebuild and get this error - sometimes I just ignore it and hit run and it will run. Sometimes, it will not and I have to clean the solution and hit run.

What's the status about this issue?
