I'm one who did update to Xcode 9.3 and had problems with Visual Studio for Mac the past days.
After installing the patch for the problem come out last Friday I was able to reinstall the app in debug mode on a real iPhone.
However I discovered still something is wrong.
I'm unable to successfully load the app on the iPhone if I compile the app for Appstore.
Before the update I was able to simply create the .ipa file, copy it in the the iTune library (locally) and then load it on the phone for tests.
Now I can compile, create the archive file, sign it, copy the .ipa file on iTune local library and load it on the phone.
However when it reach 3/4 of the download stops, the icon on the phone remains black and clicking on the icon a pop up message says "Unable to install "" Please try again later. Only the OK button is present.
Note, if I try to do this procedure with an old copy of the app created BEFORE all the mess with Xcode 9.3, is still working.
IT seems something is wrong with the generated app from the latest Visual Studio building.
I did try to update Visual Studio for mac to the latest beta release (I saw this morning some updates popping up) but it brings me back to the original problem to even load the debug app on the iPhone.
Also I noticed that the app passed from 73 Mbyte to 93 Mbyte ! No modifications made.
Any suggestions about how to restore a working development environment ?
Should I uninstall everything and try from the scratch ?
i.e. remove and reinstall Xcode and Visual Studio ?
Should I use the beta (Xamarin.IOS seems more recent that the stable). Is it possible I'm doing something wrong updating Visual Studio ?
I did select the Stable channel.
