I've just started working with Xamarin Studio and when I launch my HelloWorld application I am typically seeing 7-8 seconds before the application launches in the simulator. I worked with MonoDevelop a couple of years back and I don't recall it being that slow. Is this typical, or has my Mac Mini developed a performance problem in the interim? I'm a Visual Studio developer so this is all very new to me. Any suggestions appreciated.
